St. Hedwig's is rich in culture a1nd history. It is the 1st large church in Holdingford. Its steeple rises high above the horizon. It sets directly across from the famed soldiers' shrine of WWII. It has a grotto to the Blessed Mother set in the center of the wonderful Royal steps - this in thanks for the victory over the Russians in 1920 in the "Miracle on the Wisla River" None of these matters today. Instead the Local priest, Greg Mastey, the bishop Donald Kettler and Chanceller Jane Marin chose to chain up the west side steps of St. Hedwig's approximately 5-7 years already. They want to demolish both churches in Holdingford and are searching for a place to build a new one. Such is our inept leadership. Bishop Kettler has no interest in ethnicity, even though he had 5-7 petitioners at his installation representing the ethnicities. Apparenttly that ment nothing to him. St. Hedwig's needs to stay and be, the greates commandment of all. Please don't put three 3 parishes in a blender and give a neutral one. St. Hedwig practiced charity and is recognized for her charioty. Mastey, Kettler and Marin will not be recognized for destroying churches.
